PCVITA Express Migrator For Google Apps is one of the easy way to migrate to Google Apps Premier Edition from existing IBM Lotus Notes environment. The user need to follow the pre-requisite as described in the previous post PCVITA Lotus Notes to Google Apps Pre-requisites.
Apart from that the product requires Lotus Notes to be installed on the workstation and it should not be connected to Domino Server. The product is compatible with Lotus Notes 6.5/7.0/8.0/8.5 versions.
Once the pre-requisites are met the user can wizard like product to migrate the existing NSF data to Google Apps account. In case the NSF files are encrypted then those cannot be migrated without the corresponding user.id file and the password. The SwitchID process should be performed to first switch to the NSF user using the ID file and password and then the corresponding NSF file can be migrated.
There are mainly 4 steps to migrate.
Step 1: Select the Option i.e. Lotus Notes to Google Apps. [The product will be enhanced to support Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express]

Step 2: Provide the Domain Information

Provide the name of the domain that is registered with Google Apps and click on Text. It verifies with the Google Apps and then provide the conformation in the form of green tick mark as shown above in the picture.
Step 3: Add the NSF files and provides the Google Apps account information for the user. Provide the username and password for the Google Apps for the corresponding NSF file not the username & password for the Lotus Notes NSF file.

Step 4: Click Next. It verifies the username and password with Google Apps account. If all the username and password are proper it moves next otherwise it flags an error.
Step 5: Once all the users are proper, the filter screen comes

Step 6: Click on Export. The migration starts. The progress of migration is displayed through online status window.

Once the migration gets over, the product keeps on updating the Reports.csv in the installation folder. It has record of all the migration carried out.
